6ix9ine A massive bidding war has ensued for two of Rap’s biggest new artists, Trippie Redd and 6ix9ine. By Rico Panacea (@RicoPanacea) (AllHipHop Rumors) Trippie Redd and 6ix9ine are two of rap's hottest up and coming acts. They first began making major waves after doing collaborations with each other, but recently their friendship has hit a snag. The two musicians have been having verbal and internet exchanges stating their disdain for each other. Most of the interactions involving Trippie stating his dislike of 6ix9ine over his sex charges and 6ix9ine began clowning Trippie for allegedly getting beat up. Crazy times to be involved in the ever-changing world of hip-hop and rap, I know. However, the two musicians have still been seeing their streaming numbers and sales increase during all of this. This has lead to what has been said to be a massive bidding war for publishing rights to material created by both Trippie Redd and 6ix9ine. Neither artist has yet to sign a publishing deal and the asking price is very, very high due to the success of their chart-topping records. Trippie Redd's "A Love Letter To You" album peaked at number 64 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart. The album is also close to reaching 300,000 album units sold as of today.6ix9ine on the other is headed to a Top 5 Billboard chart showing. Three tracks from his “Day69” project have also already been certified gold.
